Founded in 2013, AEONS OF ASHES released 2 albums and several EPs. Their latest release was the album "The Wasteland Chronicles" (Sept 2023, Running Wild Productions). They played with Dark Tranquillity, Paradise Lost, Tristania, Der Weg einer Freiheit and many more renowned international bands.
Since April 2023 they have a female vocalist on board, now combining male and female growls and harsh vocals. 4LE4 ("Alea") joined the band as a true newcomer immediately enchanting fans and critics. Their music is playing in the self-created post-apocalyptic fantasy universe wasteland2570. A place where fans also can immerse in pen&paper roleplay, blog entries and videos. (Thus the name of the album.)

New (additional) front woman at AEONS OF ASHES. July Fellner is still a blank slate in band terms, but she has a musical background and has been a fan and at almost all of the band's shows in recent years.
And hardly anyone knows the interactive fantasy world wasteland2570 created by AEONS OF ASHES better than she does. July has even game-mastered two pen&paper role-playing adventures. Still, joining the band was never the plan until very recently.
"Last May, July stood in the rehearsal room with me for the first time," recalls frontman Tim Sklenitzka. "I had given growling lessons to other acquaintances before, and of course I couldn't refuse my best friend this wish."
Her enthusiasm for metal has accompanied July for almost two decades. "I've been a metalhead since the beginning of my teenage years. In my years as a student, music was a part of my everyday life–but performing metal myself has its own fascination. Already after the first growling lessons I would have loved to be in the rehearsal room every day".
July quickly turned out to be a diamond in the rough and had soon mastered a few AEONS OF ASHES songs during her training sessions. After just one rehearsal session, with which the band wanted to thank July for her loyalty as a fan, it was clear to all existing musicians: Such a talent belongs on stage–with AEONS OF ASHES.
In early 2013, the post-modern melodic death metal band formed in St. Pölten from consistently well-known names of the Austrian metal scene. Soon the first live shows followed, among others with Dark Tranquillity and Tristania. In 2014, the debut album "Shutdown" was released. In the next few years, numerous club shows and festival appearances in and around Austria followed–they supported Paradise Lost or Der Weg einer Freiheit, to name just a few.
In 2017, the 6-track EP "Impatience" was released. Since 2019, AEONS OF ASHES is all about the self-created, interactive storytelling project wasteland2570. 2021 saw the release of the EP "Initiation". In 2022 guitarist f4v5t replaced founding member g8s and joined the other Inner Circle members The GrandMaester, st0nes, d0ck3r, and spr0ut. The EP "Anticipation" was released.
In April 2023, 4LE4 completed the current line-up, and the EP "Determination" (July 2023) was be followed by the new album "The Wasteland Chronicles" in September 2023.
